Famn Premium
Famn is free to use for lists, tasks, the calendar, recipes and chat. Premium adds the parts that help a household plan ahead, spend less, share the work fairly and keep track of what matters. One subscription covers everyone in your Space.

The Upgrade to Premium page in the app always shows the current comparison, prices and any free trial for your store and country; this table is a guide, not a price list.
One Subscription, the Whole Household
Most Premium features are shared: when anyone in your Space subscribes, shopping prices and insights, full history, meal suggestions, calendar and contact sync, leaderboard, photo scan and the larger storage are open for every member of that Space. The Premium hub then reads Covered by your household.
A few things follow the person who subscribes rather than the Space: creating extra Spaces, AI task generation, and the recipe import and AI samples. If you rely on those, you need your own subscription.
Seeing Your Plan
Open More and tap My subscription (or Unlock Premium Features if you are on the free plan). The Premium hub shows one of:
- Premium is active, with the renewal date, or Premium until a date if it will not renew.
- Covered by your household, when someone else in the Space subscribes.
- Your Premium has ended, with an invitation to subscribe again; your data is untouched.
- You're on the free plan.
Below it, Your plan names the plan, and the menu offers See plans, RestorePurchases and Manage billing.
Subscribing
Tap See plans or Upgrade to Premium. Choose a plan; the yearly plan shows how much you save. The button tells you exactly what happens: Subscribe with the price, or Start free trial followed by the price you pay after the trial when your store offers one. The purchase goes through the App Store or Google Play.
On the web, Famn either takes you to a secure checkout or shows a code to scan with your phone so you can buy in the app; the browser unlocks by itself once the purchase completes.
After subscribing you see Welcome to Premium! and land back where you were.
Restoring and Managing
- Restore Purchases brings back a subscription bought on another device with the same App Store or Google account.
- Manage billing opens your subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play, where you change or cancel the plan. Subscriptions bought on the web are managed through the billing portal instead. Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the paid period.
- Changing phone platform: subscriptions belong to the store you bought them in, so a subscription from Google Play cannot be restored on an iPhone.
Tips
- Subscribe once per household. Check the hub before buying; if it says Covered byyour household, the shared features are already yours.
- Look for the trial. When your store offers one, the button says so.
- Storage is part of the plan. If uploads stop because the Space is full, Premium raises the limit.
