Messages
"Did you buy milk?" belongs next to the shopping list. Messages lets you chat with other Famn users inside the app: one to one, or in a group. It is free on every plan.
Opening Messages
Open the side menu and tap Messages. The list shows your chats, newest activity first, with the other people's pictures, the chat name or Chat with their names, and a preview of the last message. Pull down to refresh; the list also refreshes when you return to the app.
Starting a Chat
Tap + (New Chat). Search for people in Search users..., tap the ones you want — they appear as chips — and tap the check mark. Pick one person for a direct chat or several for a group chat. The conversation opens right away.
Writing
Type in Type a message... and tap Send. Messages arrive live while the chat is open; scroll up to load older ones. Your own messages are shown on the right.
Messages are plain text for now: there are no attachments, reactions, editing, deleting or read receipts, and a chat cannot be renamed or left from the app.
Notifications
You are notified when someone writes to you. To change how, open More → Profile → Notifications and adjust Messages; see Notifications.
